MARK R. McCAMMON Managing Partner
As Co-Managing Partner of SCP, Mark McCammon’s responsibilities primarily include investment sourcing and valuation, transaction structuring, the securing of acquisition financing, fundraising and all administrative activities.
Prior to launching SCP, Mark worked in the Equity Division at T. Rowe Price Associates and the Corporate Finance department at Goldman, Sachs & Co. At T. Rowe Price, he was a research analyst focused on large growth companies. At Goldman Sachs, Mark spent his time split between corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, he worked at Graham Partners, a $250 million private equity firm in Wayne, PA.
Mark is a board member of seven of SCP’s investments.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Mark received his Masters of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
Mark enjoys all sports and many outdoor activities. He is an avid weightlifter and snowboarder. Mark also enjoys cooking, reading and personal investing.

MICHAEL R. BERGERON Managing Partner
A Co-Managing Partner of SCP, Mike Bergeron focuses on the evaluation of industries and markets, business valuation, deal sourcing and portfolio monitoring.
Prior to the launch of SCP, he spent his career at Procter & Gamble. Mike’s last position was as global brand manager of Actonel, Procter & Gamble’s largest pharmaceutical business. Actonel, which treats osteoporosis, generates over $500 million in annual sales. He also worked at T. Rowe Price as an Equity Analyst researching financial institutions.
Mike is a board member of four of SCP’s investments and serves as chairman of Postle Aluminum and Robert Rothschild Farm.
Mike graduated with honors from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He also received his Masters of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
He is a member of Young Presidents Organization and serves on the Oakland University Finance and Accounting Advisory Board. Mike enjoys weightlifting, running, politics and travel.

DAVID J. HIEMSTRA Principal
Dave Hiemstra is a Principal of SCP and focuses on deal evaluation, acquisition due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining SCP, Dave worked in the Transaction Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, focusing on buy-side and sell-side due diligence. In that role, he supported strategic and financial buyers in evaluating and negotiating acquisition and alliance transactions in automotive, distribution, telecommunications, energy and other industries. Dave also worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ middle-market audit practice prior to graduate school.
He currently sits on the boards of Postle Aluminum and Smith Mountain Industries.
Dave earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, where he also earned his Masters of Business Administration degree with high distinction.
He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Michigan. Dave enjoys golf, basketball and food.

STEVEN C. LABARRE Vice President
As a Vice President of SCP, Steve participates in due diligence, transaction execution and portfolio monitoring.
He began his relationship with SCP in 2006 when he joined SCP’s portfolio company, Inland Management, as Director of Corporate Development. Steve was tasked with leading the add-on acquisition effort at Inland, both in the evaluation of opportunities and in the post-acquisition integration of five acquired companies. In 2007, Steve was promoted to Vice President of Corporate Development.
Before joining SCP, Steve was the CFO/Controller of a general contractor operating in the residential construction market in Southeast Michigan. He also held various financial management positions at a national chain of specialized hospitals headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI. Additionally, Steve worked at Stout Risius Ross, a regional financial and operational advisory firm, where he split his time between the Corporate Finance and Operational Strategy & Performance Improvement groups.
Steve graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and received his Masters of Business Administration degree from The University of Michigan.
Steve enjoys running, skiing, boating, and traveling with his family.

ADAM P. WISE Associate
As an Associate at SCP, Adam Wise focuses on acquisition due diligence, portfolio monitoring and analytical support.
Prior to joining SCP, Adam worked as a senior associate in the audit practice at KPMG LLP in Detroit. At KPMG, Adam worked primarily on the US GAAP, SOX 404 and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) audits of companies within the automotive industry. In this role, he planned, managed and performed various stages of audits and was responsible for overseeing the work of multiple team members.
Adam received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with High Distinction, and Masters of Accounting with High Distinction from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Michigan. Adam enjoys weightlifting, college sports and spending time with friends and family.

ROBIN FENBERG Controller
Robin Fenberg has been a member of the SCP team since 2001. In her role as Controller, Robin is responsible for all in-house office procedures and financial communications with investors, as well as managing the firm’s day-to-day operations. Prior to joining SCP, Robin was employed in the public accounting industry. Robin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Michigan State University.

DAVID N. McCAMMON Senior Advisor
As Senior Partner of SCP, Dave McCammon possesses a wealth of experience and knowledge from his 40-year career at Ford Motor Company.
At Ford, he served in numerous roles including Vice President of Finance and Vice President of Corporate Strategy. Throughout Dave's career, he has overseen a number of acquisitions, managed company's pension funds, and was responsible for all corporate communication with Wall Street. In total, the investments in which he was involved in returned 6.7 times the equity that was invested.
Currently, Dave resides on two of SCP’s boards. He also serves on the board of Pulte Corporation (a home building company). Additionally, Dave served on the board of McDonald Securities and Stone & Webster (an engineering and construction company).
Dave received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska, with majors in Mathematics and Accounting. He earned his Masters of Business Administration degree with high distinction from Harvard Business School.
He has lived in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan for over 25 years and is very active in the community. Dave is the former chairman of the Executive Committee of the Henry Ford Health System and serves as an investment advisor in several other organizations.
