About Rob

As an Operating Partner at Strength Capital Partners, Rob provides strategic oversight for multiple portfolio companies, driving operational excellence and growth. He currently serves as CEO of RW America, a Denver-based specialty building products distributor, and as CEO of DTM Distributors, a Mexican food distribution company in Bowling Green, KY. Additionally, Rob sits on the boards of other Strength portfolio companies and contributes to the evaluation of new investment opportunities, leveraging his extensive experience in construction, distribution, and operational turnarounds.

Rob is recognized for transforming businesses through process optimization, cost management, and team empowerment. His leadership has consistently delivered measurable results, from implementing innovative technologies to scaling operations for sustainable profitability. His hands-on, decisive approach fosters accountability and builds trust among employees, customers, and stakeholders.

Before joining Strength Capital, Rob served as CEO of Inland Pipe Rehabilitation (IPR), a trenchless sewer pipe repair business and one of Strength’s most successful investments. Joining IPR in 2010 as Chief Operating Officer, he brought over three decades of operations management expertise from the construction industry. At IPR, Rob introduced cutting-edge trenchless technologies and streamlined procedures, reducing costs, enhancing quality, and driving a successful exit for Strength Capital.

Earlier in his career, Rob founded a new home construction company at age 22, growing it from four to 80 employees across multiple locations over 13 years before its successful sale. He also held senior leadership roles at top 25 homebuilders, including Vice President at McCar Homes, where he helped scale revenue from $50 million to $680 million. Rob’s career reflects a relentless commitment to reinvention and results, underpinned by a deep understanding of operational and market dynamics.
